Bat surveys
All bat species are strictly protected according to § 10 (2) Nr. 11 Federal nature conservation enactment (BNatSchG) and therefore of great importance for planning projects. There are existing strict bans on trapping and harming bats.
In the context of environmental impact studies and development mitigation planning certain biological specialists are conducting for us studies about hunting areas, flight paths, accommodations and migration of bats in terrestrial and aquatic habitats assisted by external specialists. The investigations are based both on visual registration and bat detectors and can only be conducted at special seasons.
