Biotope Mapping

Biotope mapping is regarded as a reliable indicator for the ecological value of an area and represents a base for further assessments.

In the context of environmental impacts studies and development mitigation planning we carry out biotope mappings and special samplings.

The mapping and assessment method follows the approach of the respective federal state and takes into account country specific protection regulations. At the field mapping modern analyser and GPS equipment are used, which make the further representation and evaluation possible in a geographical information system, for example for a tree or land register. The results will be worked out via ArcGIS e.g. AutoCAD.
