Visual impact assessment for the offshore windfarm BALTIC I
The OECOS team worked out a visual impact assessment as a part of the environmental impact assessment for OFFSHORE OSTSEE WIND AG within the approval procedure to the offshore windfarm BALTIC I (21 generators, 15 km north of the peninsula of Fischland/Darss). Photographic visualizations made an estimation of the expected effects as realistic as possible. In addition to that a set of 24 criteria was developed to describe and evaluate the specific visual effects of an offshore windfarm on the coastal environment.
