Intervention mitigation plan for a development measure on the Polder Wittern
In the context of the current restructuring of the Hamburg port, the HPA plans to lease and develop an area of the Polder Wittern. The projected buildings must be considered as an intrusion on the natural landscape according to § 9 (1) of the Hamburg nature conservation enactment (HmbNatSchG).
HPA has engaged OECOS GmbH to prepare an intervention mitigation plan in order to identify the intensity of the impact on the natural system and the natural scenery as well as the importance of the possible compensation or replacement demand.
