Development mitigation plan for a development measure on the Polder Wittern
In the context of the current restructuring of the Hamburg port the HPA plans the new lease of an area on the Polder Wittern. The planned new buildings have to be considered as an intrusion on the natural landscape according to § 9 (1) of the Hamburg nature conservation enactment (HmbNatSchG).
HPA has engaged OECOS GmbH to prepare a development mitigation plan (LBP) in order to identify the intensity of the impact on the natural system and the natural scenery as well as the amount of the possible compensation or replacement demand.
