Visual impact analysis for the projects SKY 2000 und Baltic1
An evaluation of wind farm project effects on the seascape is very necessary, because of the especially high visibility in this mainly unstructured landscape. OECOS GmbH develops computer and video supported visualisations to achieve an impression as realistic an impression as possible. Between others our planning office has carried out comprehensive visual impact analyses for the two offshore windfarms "SKY 2000" and "BALTIC 1". In these cases the methodology developed by us for the visual impact analysis of offshore windfarms has been published in the German handbook of environmental impact assessment.
The illustration below is part of a number of visualisations which were made for the OWP BALTIC I. The flight bar serves as a comparison scale and is used in a standardized distance of 7 m (subdivision 20 cm).
