Mapping and Environmental Assessments for onshore wind power projects

In the course of wind power project planning, OECOS Ltd. conducts faunistic and floristic mapping and compiles the necessary documents for planning approval, e.g. environmental compatibility studies, development mitigation plans, species conservation assessments and FFH computability studies.

During the last three years, we conducted the following faunistic and floristic mappings for planning approval of onshore wind farms for clients such as Vattenfall neue Energien Ltd., Gamesa Deutschland Ltd., Notus Energy, UKA Nord, Global Wind Power, Ventotec, Trave Erneuerbare Energien, and Energiekontor:

2016:

  • Avifaunistic and bat monitorings for two wind parks in Lower Saxony
  • Biotope mapping and lanscape analyses for several wind parks in Schleswig-Holstein
  • Ecological Supervision of wind park construction sites in Lower Saxony

2015:

  • Ornithological mappings and survey for numerous wind farms in Lower Saxony, amongst other is the counties of Uelzen, Rotehburg-Wümme and Verden.
