Workshops

Many of the tasks of OECOS GmbH are in a dynamic development process. Therefore the team of OECOS GmbH constantly strives to stay up to date and share its self-acquired expertise with colleagues in workshops and work groups. During 2011 and 2012, employees of OECOS GmbH offered their expertise in a number of workshops on “migratory birds”, “bats” and “landscape” prior to the updating of the standard investigation concept “study of the effects of offshore wind turbines on the marine environment (StUK 4)” by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), which has meanwhile been completed.

STUK 4 specifies the thematic and technical requirements for the investigation and monitoring of the marine environment in the context of the environmental impact assessment for offshore wind farms in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

Furthermore the OECOS GmbH holds active and passive memberships in the following institutions and organisations:
